Moved on from Moruya to Merimbula

Well after the excitement of the AFL Grand Final yesterday, we had to endure a night and morning of rain to packup in. The lady at reception this morning told me the they expected to get 6mm overnight, but it ended out being 30mm. All i know is that it didn't stop all night.

It was an easy travelling day today, only 150kms to Merimbula. We had packed up and left by 11am and stopped for lunch in Bega at the cheese factory. They had some pretty interesting stuff in their museum with a lot of 100 year old tools and machinery.

We setup in Merimbula and have access to the beach from the caravan park, only problem is that it is too bloody cold to go anywhere near the water. It won't stop the kids though!

By the way, how bad was that old fart Meatloaf at the grand final?... I don't think he even knew what country he was in.
