We had another pretty easy day today, having a long breakfast before heading into Coolangatta to do some shopping. We got back at lunchtime and had a snooze until about 3pm. We all headed down to Kira Beach which is at Coolangatta.
It wasn't warm enough for a swim, but the kids didn't seem to have a problem getting wet. (do they ever). They ran though the waves and dug holes and enjoyed themselves. On the Corrumbin beach there was an art exhibition relating to using recycled material with an environmental theme. We checked it out until it started to get dark and headed back to camp. After tea, Ange cooked up pancakes and hot chocolate.
Should be an early one tonight, as we are off to Maroochydore tomorrow, spending six days up there.
