Hey all
Spending another day here in Iluka, taking in the sights and getting lots of swimming in. We went on a rainforest walk, but halfway through Kai needed the toilet so we had to double back. Always the way. By the time we got back he didn't need to go anymore.
Checked out both beaches, which weren't really suitable for swimmers. A pretty harsh undertow and big waves suited more to surfers. Despite that, the kids still got wet and spent some time digging in the sand, etc.
We wanted to get some fresh fish for tea so we stopped at the fishmongers. We got a fisherman's basket for lunch and picked up some for tea as well.
During the afternoon Kai had a sleep while the other two visited the pool at the caravan park. Ange and I did some reading and general cleaning up.
The kids aren't blogging tonight, as the owners here have put on a movie night, and they are watching Peter Pan as we speak. While the movie seems pretty good, I think after a couple of weeks without TV they would watch anything!
