Maroochydore

We had a beautiful day weather wise, with sun and about 21 degrees c. We had organised an early morning river walk along the Maroochy river. This kicked off at about 8am and we got back about 9:30am. Found a lot of tinnies just pulled up on the bank, not sure if they were from the houses across the road or if people just left them there trustingly. Had a quick kick of the footy on a sandbar near a boat hire area on the riverbank.

Once we returned from our walk, we went for a round of mini golf. Kai was especially excited with this, and he showed us just how easy golf is! I'm sure that when i go out for a hit with the boys that he thinks that we are playing mini golf- wondering why i won't take him with me.

Kai went around the course about four times in record time! It was pretty funny to watch. It was all good fun.

After lunch and a rest we went and fed the ducks. We had saved up our bread leftovers and took them with us. As well as ducks we found eels and a turtle looking for their fair share of stale bread.

Had a roast for dinner with Ange's family in their cabin. After skyping with Sam and Kelly who are over in England and laughing at some of the photos we took during the day it was time to call it a night.
