Coonabarabran to Glen Innes

Today we drove just just over 400ks NE from Coonabarabran to Glen Innes. We had a bit of a late while we waited for the washing to dry and didn't head off til around 11. we had our only stop and Tamworth where we drove 10 ks out of our way to see the Big guitar which was very unimpressive - just a golden guitar - with no stings - in a car park which you had to wait for the cars coming out of KFC to drive passed before you could take a photo. The wax museum is meant to good but we didn't have time.

We had lunch at a Lions picnic area which had a memorial park for truck drivers that had died. The children were very interested in the ages of the drivers - mostly men - especially those who had died accidentally.

We pushed on to a free camp about 10ks north of Glen Innes, we got there on dusk and did a record time set up and tea preparation in less that 30 minutes.

Tomorrow we head for Tweed Heads and we are looking forward to a few nights in one place.
