Iluka to Park Beach

We continued to venture south today and moved from Iluka to Park Beach just outside Coffs Harbour. We took our time packing up this morning and didn't get away until 11.30. We only drove about 45 mins to Grafton where we stopped at a local park for lunch. Justin managed to reverse angle park with the trailer on and was pretty happy with himself! We had a good chat to a local bus driver at the park who was interested in what we were doing and we had discussed where we had been and he suggested some of the places we might like to stay on the way home. By the time he left he was actually late to pick up his school run!

We found a middle sized Caravan park to stay for the next 2 nights, the children were pleased because it has a pool with a water slide. It is a Top Tourist park, we have stayed at a number of different chained parks over the past few weeks and 2 of our favorites have been Top Tourist. We have a busy day planned for tomorrow, we need to do some shopping while we are at decent sized town to replenish the pantry and need to a fix it job on one of the camper poles. We also hope to visit the miniature dutch village and 'big Oma's house' - the children think it should be called Old Oma's house, there are also plans to visit the big banana - hopefully it will be more eventful than the big guitar and to go for a camel ride on the beach.

As we get further south the nights are getting colder but the days are still glorious - we have only had 1 day that wasn't sunny since we left home. Looking forward to another beautiful day tomorrow.
