With nice sunny days and no cloud cover comes some very cold nights. I really felt it last night, i couldn't seem to get my feet warm. Anyway got packed up and left Forbes at about 10:30am with another beautiful day. Kai was stoked because he was allowed to wear shorts for the first time.
It is surprising how different the road conditions are once we crossed the border into NSW. The main roads are pretty ordinary. When going through Parkes we stopped into 'The Dish'. It is a pretty awesome sight. It has a pretty interesting museum there too. The kids really seemed to enjoy it.
Kai had been pretty annoyed that he had not been able to clean the windscreen when we stop to fill up at a servo, wondering why 'she' (Angela) gets to do it while i fill up. Well he got his chance at Gilandra. He was pretty pleased with himself.
We pushed onto Coonabarabran and arrived at about 5:00pm. We decided to stay at a caravan park since we haven't had a decent shower in three days. Also a good chance to recharge the battery in the camper as well as the laptop and camera.
